Traditional Furoshiki Laptop bags

furoshikilaptopwrap-111.jpg9brand a Japanese company has come out with an excellent way to carry your laptop. Incorporating traditional techniques, furoshiki is rapidly regaining popularity as a symbol of efficiency and reducing waste in modern Japan. Their environmental minister has been pushing them to resurrect this custom. The Tokyo-based design team Keita and Naoyo Seto have made it possible by using the traditional wrapping cloth used to carry goods; furoshiki a cult item. Made from lightweight 1/4-inch urethane fabric, a carry bag for notebook computers, it is available in yellow, gray and black from Object Fetish—unfortunately, it won't fit 17" models. It promises to protect a computer or any other fragile products.

The Furoshiki laptop bag is available for $88.
