University of Tokyo And Panasonic get together to create a robot to wash your dishes
|

The Japanese people, who are leaders in creating some of the most unique products, have created a robot to wash all your dishes. Thanks to this robot you don't even have to lift your finger to arrange the dishes in the dishwasher. Created by Panasonic and the University of Tokyo, the robot arm is capable of rinsing any dish and putting it into the dishwasher before pushing the start button. I can't wait to get this robot in my home. Its arm has three joints and moves on a rail, allowing it to pick up plates and utensils from any place and position inside the kitchen sink. This robot can even be trusted with your delicate and precious china. To help it grasp delicate china, this kitchen assistant robot (KAR) uses data from the 18 sensors embedded in its palm and images from a built-in camera to distinguish between shapes.
The engineers are working to make this robot lighter and faster and have hopes that this robot could be out in the markets in the next 5 years. but they don't want to stop at just this, they are even considering on making a robot that does laundry! God bless the Japanese!
