Women go for Bentleys over Fords - A sure tip for guys

Guys, if you thought that what car you drive makes no difference to women, think again. Apparently the attractiveness meter can be manipulated by your vehicle. A research study involved showing women pictures of the same guy sitting in two cars, a silver Bentley Continental and a battered Ford Fiesta. These women went for the guy in the Bentley. So we know that women do have good taste!

The latest edition of the British Journal of Psychology has the research from Dr, Michael Dunn, of the University of Wales Institute in Cardiff published in it. It seems that women are on the prowl for a man who has wealth and status to boast of as it means he is in a "better condition to rear healthy offspring." And it seems, this trend is not likely to change. So, I guess if a girl ever calls a guy shallow, he can just throw this study in her face and say, 'Who's the shallow one now?'. Dr.Dunn will no doubt chime in saying, "Let's face it - there's evidence to support it."
