• Computerised Fabrics could be our Fashionable Future

Posted on April 19, 2013 by neha

We love fashion and when it comes intertwined with technology we love it even more. Like the Karma Chameleon project that involves weaving electronic fabric into clothes in a way that allows the storage of energy from the body. You have two garments, a dress that changes itself, and a shirt which can charge a phone. What we are looking at could well be our future though not immediately, the aim is to create something ground-breaking, several notches higher from reversible jackets and color-changing clothes.

Rumored: EOS branded Nokia Smartphones with 41 MP cameras in the works

Posted on April 18, 2013 by meghna

Smartphones are fast replacing cameras as the photography tools of choice. Smartphones like the new Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the Sony Xperia Z have redefined what a phone camera should be able to do. Not to be left behind, Nokia may be on the verge of debuting their own powerhouse. Sources close to Nokia have revealed to My Nokia Blog that Nokia is in the process of testing two new flagship Smartphones, both of which will have ‘EOS’ branding and a huge focus on high-quality photography. Both the devices have the same specs, the only difference being the processor – one features a Dual Core processor while the other features a Quad core. Both run the latest Snapdragon 800. The point of testing both the models is to see if the more powerful version can withstand long usage. If the battery life isn’t satisfactory, they are likely to only release the less powerful version. The 41-megapixel camera phones are also apparently supported by both an LED and more powerful Xenon flash, and boast an Amoled 1280 x 768 display. It may also have a Micro HDMI out port and Micro SD card slot.

The most amazing home appliance invention is a washing machine. Over the years this wonderful device has transformed from front loading machine to now Wifi enabled or transparent ones. However, I never thought in the wildest dreams about a washing machine that does not require water! After launching the Smartphone-controlled LG smart refrigerator plans your meals for you, LG is now creating a water-free washing machine. Known as the LG Styler, this new machine uses a hot air technology that will scrub the dirt of your shirts using steam and other secret magic the company has yet to reveal. The Styler can refresh and deodorize multiple fabrics, from shirts, sweaters and ties, to suits and thick winter coats, so they stay wearable longer, limiting sometimes expensive dry-cleaning without using water or detergent. With the Moving Hanger feature the LG Styler will give your clothes a gentle shake to remove wrinkles, odors, and dust. If you’re not liking the way your clothes smell, the Styler can also spray select aromatic scents to mask the musk.

Chair Paintings That You Can Actually Sit In!

Posted on April 18, 2013 by nehasharma

The Canvas chair by YOY design studio has changed the way you treat paintings. Not only you can ponder over them for hours, but also you can actually sit in them! The Blandito, Nintendo NES Controller Coffee Table, or the Origami Chair hits our list of the most amazing furniture. The Canvas chair by YOY design studio is on another level altogether. Constructed out of wood and aluminium, each piece is covered with screen-printed elastic fabric of drawings of various types of chairs. When weight is applied to the framed furniture piece that’s leaned against a wall, its canvas would stretch to form a comfortable void to accommodate the user. The fantastic, elastic works of art come in three different varieties as a stool, a love seat, and a sofa.

Posted on April 18, 2013 by neha

A camera called New Swimming Fly 3WAY TOY Digital Camera Moomin is coming your way but I’d like to state, What’s in a name and ask you to focus on its innumerable qualities (read: features). The camera as I call it (even Google translate doesn’t help much sometimes), is equipped to be used as a toy, its compact, can be used as a USB too, most of all it can be used as a camera to take photos and videos. The camera is barely 15mm thick, weighing 24g. The fact that this camera comes with a USB port completely eliminates the need for cables to transfer pictures and videos making us like it even more.
