Cat hygiene ensured with the Cat lavatory
|

Long suffering Cat owners have often complained of their pet dropping it’s poo everywhere in and around the house, making it really difficult to clean every now and then. But now, even Cats could be trained to be civilized and hygienic by visiting the bathroom exactly the way humans do. With the help of the Litter Kwitter being fixed into the ordinary lavatory, the makers promise that the pets will be trained to visit the loo in a few weeks time. A three-step training program, Red, Amber and Green ensure the pets to change their personal habits. The first stage of the Litter Kwitter system involves placing of a tray filled with litter next to the lavatory. Two weeks later the device is placed on the toilet rim. A hole in the bottom of the tray is gradually increased in size over up to two months and the amount of litter used is gradually decreased until finally your cat has mastered the art of balancing on the lavatory.
The Australian creator of this device, Jo Lapidge from Canberra, got inspired to come up with her creation after taking a crack at the 2004 Ben Stiller film, Meet the Fockers, in which Robert DeNiro’s cat is fully toilet trained. After the success of training her Burmese dog with the three-step approach, she consulted with the animal psychology and behavioral specialists, vets and animal welfare agencies including the RSPCA, have endorsed the Litter Kwitter before developing the product which is now for sale in Britain for £39.99($82).
