DIY cat feeder has a motor-driven cereal dispenser controlled by signal from port status LEDs on a Cisco switch. This switch helps avoid expensive Ethernet relay units. All that you need to do is log onto a web interface to choose the dispensing quantity. This device also allows you to make an automatic feed schedule. It is also possible to capture videos to reconfirm the proper working of the device and to make sure your cat get enough food.
