Say Bon Voyage to your pets with Pet Airways
|

Traveling is a nightmare for pets, especially if you are flying. Many airlines don't allow animals of any kind at all and even if they, your pet is bound to be holed up with the rest of the baggage in the cargo hold. I bet that's not a very comfortable mode of transport for them and they curse you every second of the flight. However, the Pet Airways has stepped in to play the role of the hero for animals. This new venture launches next month and it is going to be dedicated to flying pets only. The media says, “With Pet Airways your pet will be safe and comfortable, flying in the main cabin, not in cargo. From check-in at our Pet Lounge, and throughout the flight, our Pet Attendants will be caring and catering to all your pet’s needs. You can even monitor how your pet is doing.” Sounds like they've started a nice business of pet pampering.
The airline has twenty planes which include twin props and 727s. In the beginning, they will only fly from Los Angeles to the East coast with stops in Denver and Chicago. You will have to shell out about $150 minimum for this service and no, you can't fly with your pet.
