Scooter: A 3 inch tall Maltese pup touted to be world’s smallest dog

Oh-My-God! I can’t believe how cute this pup is. But that’s not the reason he is the news. The owner of this adorable pup named Scooter believes he is all set to become the title holder of the world’s smallest dog. The owner, Miss Cheryl McKnight, says her Maltese pup is so small that she had to make him a special jumper out of a purple sock to make sure she doesn't accidentally step on him. Miss McKnight claims that Scooter has stopped growing at the towering height of three inches which is an inch smaller than the current small-dog record holder, Boo Boo, a long-haired Chihuahua living in the US. Tiny little Scooter sleeps in a bed made out of a shoe box and eats out of an egg cup three times a day. What is more, he even fits in one of Miss McKnight’s tea cups! The only disadvantage when it comes to owning such a tiny dog according to her is that she can’t find a leash to fit him nor can she take him for a walk. McKnight, who now can’t live without this tiny bundle of joy actually considered giving him up.
