Single seated performance water cycle

water_cycle.jpg
Well just another motor boat. This is the single-seat water cycle that combines the exhilarating experience of riding a recumbent bicycle with the smooth water displacement of an open-topped kayak, allowing you to navigate smoothly around lakes, harbors, and ocean inlets. Appropriate for those wishing for a relaxing cruise or a vigorous workout, the craft has an efficient, smooth pedal crank that uses an 8:1 gear ratio to drive a 15" two-blade propeller through the water, allowing you to reach a speed of up to 7 MPH--as fast as an Olympic swimmer and faster than typical paddle boats. An aluminum recumbent bicycle frame extends from the hull, providing a sturdy platform for its cushioned adjustable bicycle seat, allowing you to achieve an optimal pedaling position. The cycle frame separates from the hull for easy transport. Highly responsive turning is provided by a rudder controlled by the frame's adjustable handlebars; stopping and reverse are accomplished by pedaling backward. The craft's fiberglass-covered, high-density foam core hull is buoyant, seamless, and leak proof, with precisely-balanced integral pontoons for a stable ride, even in waves as high as 3".

Hello Kitty Tires for Kitty buff’s bicycles

Hello_Kitty_Tires.jpg
I have written a lot about the Hello Kitty stuff on Gizmodiva but never have I come across such a thing with Hello Kitty all over it. I am hinting at the Hello Kitty tires from Nirve Sports. Truly speakign , I ain’t to glad with this. I mean my meow will be in a wretchedly tattered condition after a few rocky rides. However if some of the kitty fans have actually liked the idea of replacing their bicycle tires with these Kitty etched ones then you can order for the Cruiser (26 x 2.125 tire), Hello Kitty tires for $26 and the regular (20 x 2.125 tire) ones for $20.

Japan’s Toyota, Honda and Nissan to debut people-friendly cars

people-friendly_car.jpg

Japan does it cool and really functional all the time. And so do the three world famous automakers from Japan, the Toyota, Honda and Nissan who will be debuting at the Tokyo auto show later this month. The three cars Rin, Puyo and Pivo2 sure sound eccentric, but the fact that it’s inspired more by iPod, Japanese animation and futuristic space capsules, is all the more unconventional since we are not used to being associating cars with such objects. The reason behind release of these cars is to fight the image of the cars as culprits of pollution, traffic accidents and Global warming. According to them, the image of the car should be transformed to a friendly companion instead of a mere machine to go places. The White Bubble shaped rubbery-surfaced Puyo is supposed to be a Pet. The cabin part of Puyo is a fuel-cell vehicle rotates so it never has to go into reverse. To communicate with people, the body glows in various colors of lighting such as turning Green when happy, about it’s condition and the speedometer also glows in a subdued blue tone from its dashboard so the interior feels warm. The Toyota’s Rin looks similar to the Puyo, but the only difference is it has dashes of Green and White to highlight the serenity so the driver feels one with nature.

Luxury Cars most preffered by Women - Volvo S40 is the winner

Car- manufacturing folks watch out as it is understood that besides sophistication WE (women) are also looking for subtlety. Styling and aesthetics alone won't win us over. In other words, we are more practical than men when it comes to cars. Men tend to buy cars that are more testosterone-based and macho whereas women are into cars that are sophisticated and sensible. Safety is another top concern among female drivers, which explains why Volvo S40, whose reputation is built on safety, bags the honor of ‘the highest female ownership’. Not only did the S40 nail the top spot; the Volvo brand dominated the top 10 with three winners, which, along with the S40, included the V50 wagon at No. 7 and the S60 sedan at No. 9. Its is learnt that it doesn't really matter to women how fast it can go from 0 to 60. What does matter is that it aced the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's frontal crash test. Moral of the story - men are more likely to buy cars with their heart and women with their head!
