World's first inflatable seat belts are here by Ford
So finally, the world's first automotive application of inflatable seat belts is here and this is pioneered by Ford. The description says that it has combined the attributes of traditional seat belts and air bags to provide a increased level of crash safety protection for the rear seat occupants. "Ford's rear inflatable seat belt technology will enhance safety for rear-seat passengers of all ages, especially for young children who are more vulnerable in crashes," said Sue Cischke, Ford group vice president of Sustainability, Environmental and Safety Engineering. If you do happen to meet with an accident, you will be safer with these belts as they hold you in position better. The air-bag equipped seat belts will make their debut in 2010 on the next-generation Ford Explorer and later be featured in all Ford vehicles.

Texas LeMons driver Anna also known as the Bikini Racer is definitely red hot, make no mistake on that one. However, many have wondered whether she is really a driver or simply a gimmick. Let me tell you that she certainly is a driver. In addition to the three LeMons races under her belt, she has run a best quarter-mile of 11.01 seconds at 123.36 MPH in her MkIV Supra. That is extremely impressive. She's one sizzling racer that is sure to distract with her body as much as with her skills. Kudos to her.

Did you think there would ever be a day when Hello Kitty and Ferarri teamed up? I never thought a merger between these two separate worlds was ever possible! However, here's a Ferrari that has gotten a Hello Kitty make over. The bold red has mixed with cute pink and the result is rather startling. The interior has an overdose of the kitty's face, but otherwise I'm liking it. If you aren't a Hello Kitty fan, there might just be a chance that is photoshopped.

It is a common sight for women being leered by male taxi drivers. In Mexico there is a new fleet of 35 cabs in the colonial city of Puebla, driven exclusively by women and which never stops for men. This cabs cater especially to those females who are tired of leering male drivers. These taxis contain some essentials for the women like a beauty kit, a GPS system and an alarm button. A very good idea of women empowerment which should also be followed in other countries.

If there's one thing that can definitely make me happy, it's a pink scooter. I might hate driving cars, but scooters are good for me. This Pink Vespa LX totally strikes a chord with me. It's no surprise that most people buying this baby are women. Maybe I don't dream big, but the Volkswagon Beetle is definitely my dream car. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy to see a photo of this colored Volkswagen Beetle at the auto exhibition of International Beer Festival in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, Aug. 25, 2009. The flowers give it a nice feminine touch and white is a simple and elegant base color. I think it's a gorgeous car and hopefully someday I can cruise around in it.
